Privacy and essential cookies

Voice Bites is designed as a private utility for meal tracking. It uses essential authentication storage to keep you signed in, and it does not use advertising or third-party tracking pixels.

Back to app

What data the app stores

The minimum needed to provide meal logging and account access.

Your account email and authentication session.

Your meal logs, meal items, timestamps, transcripts, and estimated nutrition values.

Settings such as daily calorie and macro goals.

Essential cookies and storage

No advertising cookies. No cross-site behavioral tracking.

This app uses essential cookies or browser storage to keep you signed in and make authenticated features work properly.

These are functional session technologies, not marketing trackers. If you block them, sign-in and protected routes may stop working.

Third-party processors

Services used to run the app, not to profile you for ads.

Supabase provides authentication and database storage.

OpenAI processes transcripts and meal text to generate structured nutrition estimates.

Vercel may host and deliver the web application as infrastructure. If you deploy there, it is reasonable to mention Vercel in the policy as a hosting provider, even though it is not advertising or analytics tracking.

No ad tracking

What this app does not do today.

No advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or social retargeting tags are used.

No meal data is sold for third-party advertising.

If analytics, ad technology, or marketing tracking are added later, the policy and consent approach should be revisited.

Deletion and control

You should be able to manage your own logged data.

You can already delete individual meals inside the app.

If you later add account deletion, this page should be updated with a clear path for removing all account data.
